Karma for Beethoven

It's my turn to share something.  I think that Bruno Walter's reading of the Beethoven "Pastorale" 6th Symphony is as good as it gets, and the Columbia 6 eye stereo version is also a great recording.... but this isn't quite it.  Instead, this is the mono ML 5284,
which is still the great performance and beautifully dynamic recording.  It's a VG+ copy, noisy in places but mostly clean, to see if you are willing to look for the pricey stereo version.  From 1958,

Pick a number from 1-25.  I'll pick a winner next week.
Have fun.

I feel for you Jay.  I've got a couple of old B&O tables that play but don't auto return... maybe my next karma for the vinyly impaired.

Well, let me get another Karma of my own going  before you do that  improve the odds
I actually do need to  get my ass in gear and set something up....  my aunt was over again the other day and she keep s  reminding me that  there is  big old box of vinyl she's saving for me from my grandfather, all of it would be 50's/60's vintage I  imagine

Not in as too highbrow for me.
Remember, I entered and won (?) a Jethro Tull stinkaroo set and then actually listened to them.
Thank you very much, though, it's appreciated!

C'mon classical fans.  Pick some numbers and let's get this in the mail! I've been fishing for most of the week, and I've had this tune on the brain the whole time.  Fantastic music.  If you aren't a big classical guy, Beethoven's 6th is a great place to start.

We only have 4 players, so your chances were good. And they got a bit better when I went through my mono Beethoven's and found more duplicates, so....

#25 will have a Beethoven 6th conducted by Bruno Walter on the way.  Congrats Rich.

And #12 will have a grab bag Beethoven on the way.  Congrats Mix4fix.
Send me a PM with shipping info and I'll get these to the post office next time I run into town.

Thanks for playing.
