I want to add diffusers on my front wall between my speakers and am curious about the acoustic differences between these diffuser products?  My speakers are Quads which are 4+ feet from the front wall.

The size and root sequence is the same. The only performance difference is the dividers between the wells on the Q7D which will scatter a bit smoother than the QRD and you'll have a tad more well cancellations.  The big difference is the look/construction with the Q7D being wood while the core of the QRD is EPS.
