MF7 and the Seas Loki Kit
« on: 5 Jan 2016, 07:01 pm »
Back in 2008 I designed the MF7 which was received well (see the review link below). This is the same Seas coincident 7" driver (similar to the KEF Uni-Q) used in the the Loki kit sold by Madisound. I've recently updated the crossover for the latest version of the driver. We have two variations of the crossover voiced for near /in-wall and standard monitor placement.

This is a great system for several applications due to the uniform coverage which is essentially the same vertically and horizontally. They make a nice nearfield monitor as well as a great center channel for HT systems. If you plan on adding Atmos overhead speakers and don't need extreme reference levels the MF7 serves well as a surround. We also are working on a 3-way using the Seas 4.5" coincident driver with an added woofer. Email for details if you're interested.
