Thanks everyone for clarifications and impressions!

I am torn between the Jacquelyn and the Ottavo since I like attributes of both.

Rick I will be calling you soon... I am guessing you will help me decide.

I actually have an idea for a hybrid of the two designs using a new ribbon that I have been testing the last few weeks. It's like a cross between the RAAL 70-10D and 70-20XR tweeters and insanely good!

I neglected to answer questions about a possible Jacquelyn kit. I don't offer a kit version because I feel that the construction would be too complex for most builders. The dust from the carbon fiber isn't fun either so I thought it best to leave it as a fully assembled design.

This pair is finished in figured walnut with walnut hardwood trim. Inside it's quite different than anything else we've ever done with five different materials used for bracing and damping, including carbon fiber.

It can be ported if the cabinet depth is increased.

Out of curiosity, what is the tweeter height off the floor?

With the base and spikes added the center of the ribbon is about 42" from the floor.
