Cool ideo - looks like an early 70's vintage from just the scoop. The HP limit for most early cars is around 500 HP, and after that one better upgrade rear end, stiffen/brace the frame, transmission, drive shaft, etc.  The weakest link will always break - usually U Joints, Spyder Gears, axles, etc.  "F" cars with the sub frame will actually crinkle the rear quarter sail panels with body flex. Note how I braced my axle off the reinforced diff cover, and also run forged axles - a must to get the most out of an 8.5" 10 bolt.

And, the pic with the nitrous shot was taken at one of the Woodward Cruises.  The other car is my buddy's, a Montego I think. I live in SE Michigan.

If you do a search for "Roger Bolliger Trans Am", there's a bunch of videos out there, all are great. But it's a full blown race car now. Full cage, race guages, etc..etc..
I don't want to highjack your thread, just replying to the "what would you do with 700HP" question.   :thumb:
