In the background, where you see th skyscraper,
it's Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) about 15 Km from my place in the suburb.
You can see that downtown Saigon is foggy, polluted...

Spent the weekend in Kansas City, MO. Lot's of overcast skies and record breaking rain and flooding.
The Liberty Memorial is a monument honoring World War I.

case/lang/veirs (Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs) at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on August 6, 2016. It was first attempt at concert photography. I set my Fuji X100S to f2.8, max iso of 3200 (I think), and spot metering and hoped for the best. Many shots were overexposed (because I think I ended up metering off the performers' dark clothing instead of their faces), but I was able to recover because I shot RAW.

If you want to see the complete set, see my flickr album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskGGtbXC

All of these storms have brought a lot of moody skies. Here's another black and white.

bside nice pics!

Those were taken with my D3300. I used a tripod and had it in the water on the 3rd shot. The others were hand held. No filters used as they were in my backpack at the campsite. Early morning walk down the hiking trail. I did edit them all in Lightroom.

Morning shot from the campsite....
