Common ground output?
« on: 25 Oct 2017, 12:42 pm »
In doing some reading, I realized that some of the Class D designs do not use common ground. This is a concern because my speakers absolutely require it (Polk SDA-2B).

Can anyone speak to which Nuprime amps are (or are not) common ground?

Thanks!

Look at the FAQ's HERE for a list.  Look under the "amplifier" section

Ah, I see it's buried in an entry about speaker-level connection to a subwoofer.

So, the STA-9, MCH-K38, and IDA-16 are ok for systems that require common ground. No mention of any of the new product though... (STA-6, etc).

Thanks for the help!

STA-6 has the same design as STA-9.
