Open baffle sub roundover?
« on: 9 Feb 2016, 05:33 am »
Hi, I think I've seen both in my searches for this answer.  I am wondering if I need to round over the back side of a servo sub cutout.
There are several pictures of super v builds and open baffle subs, some with a roundover, several without.  WHen I built a sealed servo sub for a family member, Danny said it wasn't crucial to roundover inside the sub.

I was going to glue up sub sections of a super v and wanted to double check.

Thanks,
Ben

It's not necessary but if you have a  roundover bit it certainly won't hurt.  For the  minute of two it takes, I always put them on and try to go at least .5" or larger

Thanks Jay, I will. I bought a .5 for rounding over the coax cutout. May as well take your advice and do the same to the sub.
