software version of bryston sp.1

Hello,

I'am expecting delivery of a sp.1 on tuesday and was wondering if anyone knows what the latest software version for this unit is.The date on the unit is march 01 and have been told it is up to date but just want to check incase i'am missing out on anything.

Hi

Kast version of software for SP1 is V19. It will tell you what version you have when you first turn turn the SP1 on in the LCD display.

I have a version 20 now for the SP1. It hasn't been released to anyone, and has no documentation. I used it myself at home for a few months and found it to be much better than version 19. The mode selection was modified to be more like the SP1.7.

Would you care to be a beta tester?

Whats involved in loading the new software,can i do it myself or does it need sent away.
