Outside of the price does anyone have any opinions on any or all of these headphones?

I have heard all three and the voicing is different with each, as you might expect. The Stax does the best "disappearing act" IMHO; the Audeze tends slightly towards the "dark"; the T1 slightly to the bright side, maybe tending to be what people sometimes refer to as "analytical". Hope this helps but my advice would be get to a show with some familiar source material and hear for yourself- one man's meat is another man's poison, and your own experience is worth more than anybody's opinion, mine being no exception.

Oh, and bring some cash, especially if you decide on the Stax.

Hi,
in all the headphones that I have owned-listen to,
my favorite for sound quality are the Stax,
but the pair I've owned was more than 30 years ago,
so I would think that today they are even better sounding
and yes, bring some cash expensive, but I think worth.
Today, if I had the $$$ I would buy again the Stax
without any hesitation.
Of course you need a dedicated amplifier.
Stax or WOO Audio.

Have owned Audeze LCD-2 and LCD-3 in the past for year each. Liked LCD-2 more. HD 800 over both by a fair margin for me. HD 800 definitely over T1 though.
