These would be about 3 grand if bought new.

How does the Breeze compare with the Aether mini?

Hi Randy,
They are smaller. Less bass , but I find the bass faster and tighter.
I think they have better tonality. Highs much better with the fantastic Raal.
IMHO

Did you sell these yet Todd?  It's a really nice pair with lots of top shelf parts used.  If the new owner wants, they could be shipped to me first for a refinish and certification ... sort of a Certified Pre-Owned.

Hi Ryan,
Thanks so much for the offer! :D
The speakers are still for sale .  I really just want these to go to a good home , where someone will appreciate their beauty and listen to music with them. I'm busy with a seven year daughter, and have really only been using them for home theater duty.
I will mail the stands Fed X to the customer, and I guess Vapor could forward the speakers to the buyer.

PRICE DROP!, $1475 !!  Plus shipping . This is a steal for :
Custom Breeze with one of a kind custom bevel reveal, entire speaker in redwood burl, amorphous core Raal,
Dueland resistors, matching stands , crossover in stands.

Hey Todd, much lower and I'll buy them back myself ... my OEM parts cost is close to what you're asking!

Don't you also have Clarity MR capacitors?

Stlrman and Ryan,

Could you both do me a favor and take a few deep breaths; do a little meditation, and wait until I return from Axpona? Once at Axpona, I will get a chance to listen to some of Ryan and Pete's creations (quite possibly a Breeze or SB?). Only then will I be able to make an informed decision.

Are your Breezes ported or sealed? (I have little choice but to place my HT speakers no more than a foot from the front wall.) If they are ported, how easily (and how costly) can they be reworked to be sealed? My current HT L/R speakers are front ported, but my center is rear ported, which creates challenges.

Ryan,

If I were to buy these, and I wanted to buy an additional center channel (MTM or TM?) with all the same upgrades/veneer, etc., what price tag would I be looking at for one? How long a wait might I expect?

Disclosure: Even though I think these offer killer value at this price, I really want to wait until Axpona where I will be exposed to a large number of different speakers. It'll be my first ever audio fest and I'm REALLY excited. I may well opt for better/more expensive speakers.

If someone else comes along to snap these up, good for you/bad for me.

Hi Michael ,
You should be fine a foot away from the wall. That's about where I have them placed. When is the show?
No other real hot inquiries yet, so I will keep you posted.

Todd,

Axpona is being held in Chicago April 25, 26, 27. I'll be there from approx. 1pm Friday till 4pm Sunday. I expect my head will be spinning as I fly back home. I plan on a long session in the Vapor room.

Yes I am! Thanks to Stlrman for a great deal and tons of info, a really good guy. The stands are on their way to me and the speakers are on their way to Ryan for a refinish and certification.

Can't wait to hear them. Been a big Vapor fan for a long time.

Sent PM and email.

BTW, wondering if there will be any pictures leaked of the speakers you are taking to Newport?
