Hi All,

Interested to learn more from you guys on how to power HD800s well, I'm a member in head-fi org but seems that here I can also find interesting stuff.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Thanks for suggestion, I'm using wa22 as amp and I'm looking for a better DAC to power 800s, I'm using wds-1 right now.

I've connected with a couple local audiophiles and had one listening session.  There's a new group forming with its first session in November.  Here's a link...

Head fi has local meets in so cal, around once a year.  If you haven't, you should join the so cal group at head fi.

But, TBH, it can be hard to listen at a big meet, lots of people and background noise.

I know we have members with HD800's here.

And you can get lots of DAC advice here, probably better to start a thread in the right circle.

I find it makes a big difference what you feed the DAC with too.

I am in South Bay, a group of ACers just had a get together last weekend in the North Bay to check out changes to a members system.

Junepy, welcome to AC, ACHipo, we seem to be on many of the same threads.
