PS 9.0 power supply Specifications?
« on: 10 Feb 2016, 10:06 pm »
I am afraid my fully modded Sony SACD player may be on its last legs.  I have been using the PS 9.0 power supply.  Is it possible to salvage the p/s and use it with another device, a DAC for example with inputs for an external power supply?  Anyone know what the relevant specs are for the unit?  Has anyone re-purposed one of these well built P/Ss?

Thanks.

Here are the specs.  It is not likely to be plug and play with another device, but here you go.

If current design - older units had a single B+ output.

4 pin XLR:
Pin 1 = G.
Pin 2 = 12V filament (2A)
Pin 3 = 260V (100mA)
Pin 4 = 260V (100mA)

Thanks,

Dan
