AT 1005 Mk II Tonearm Help - Measurements needed
« on: 26 Sep 2016, 03:53 pm »
I just acquired an Audio Technica AT 1005 Mk II tonearm for a ROK L34 project. The tonearm is missing a few parts in the anti Skate mechanism that should be relatively easy to fabricate. I just need some measurements from someone who has one of these arms.

1) AS Bias bar: diameter, length and positions of the notches on the bar (relative to either end)

2) Anti Skate weights: mass of the upper and lower weight. I'd also appreciate dimensions of the weights, but that's not critical to making it work.

3) Bias weight string: about how long is the string?

4) Dust cap: OK, not part of the AS. But I'm missing the acrylic dust cap. I'd like the diameter and thickness of this part.

Any help would be very much appreciated. (Even better if you have the parts and are willing to let em go...)

Thanks,
Andy
