So Douk (Chinese) is making a Quad 304 copy. They say "inspired by."

So what exactly are they doing? Is it just a outer casing design ripoff or more than that?

The Quad34 is from the early 80s so yes it is a copy, or let's say an 'approximation' since some parts are probably NLA from the original. That said, these 'copies' have been getting okay reviews all around - these Chinese companies have come a ways over the last 10 years.

But being an 80s design, I'm sure there are better newer options out there for solid state preamps.
