A new record for me. Rave reviews and a mention on Ken Burns' Jazz prompted me to order it. Clean pressing and nice recording. Still warming to it on the first track, so reserving judgment...Ok so the second track rocks. More later...ok so the rest of side one is good music, but possibly the noisiest new record I've bought in a long time. Going to clean it again and see what happens, but it's very disappointing, with quite a bit of distortion on the last track.
