I've been sick most of the holiday. It started in my sinuses and then moved down in my chest. I've been coughing up yucky stuff for days. And now I have no voice at all. I am down to a whisper. So I can't even answer the phone. I'm just going to have to take a few days off and hope that I can function on Monday.

I'm not a doctor, but that yucky stuff can easily degenerate into pneumonia if care isn't taken.

I've heard some honey, a little lemon and a generous dose of whisky works wonders for curing all sorts of ills  :thumb: (I believe the honey and lemon are optional)

Take care of yourself Danny. Rest and get better. It's been going around here for awhile and it's really picking up. I hear it's going to be a very bad season this time around. Don't hesitate to get checked out.

Danny,
Sounds like Sinusitis that can be a sinus infection.  Try some ocean spray or saline solution spray in your sinus to try and get to it.  I have been fighting it for a week with it and close to over.  A doctors visit is a good idea. It does suck!

It’s cold & dry in the panhandle this time of year. Time to crank up the humidifier and get some rest.

Take the time and get better. Most of my family had influenza and 2 of us got pneumonia. Still coughing lots and lots. The whiskey idea is good, I'll second that!

It has been a tough weekend and really cold. I'm still struggling to get better, but I am a little better. I still have no voice though.

But I will be in the office tomorrow getting orders shipped out.

No freezer should be without a bottle of Absolut Peppar. It's harder to find than the more frou frou flavors but it's a magic combination that will semi anesthetize your throat and give your sinuses a little wallop.  When you're better and no longer have an excuse to drink it, construct the finest Bloody Marys on the planet with it.

I'm pretty sure Danny doesn't drink, but that pepper vodka should work almost as well sniffing it :flame:

For somethng non-alcoholic,  garlic and LOTS of it.

As above, if sysmtoms persit, the visit to the doc  is  a good idea,  everyone hates going pneumonia is even  less  fun :(
