Title: A Dearth of Ethernet Connectivity
Post by: maldeguerre on 23 Nov 2017, 02:18 pm
Hello all, my apologies if this issue has already been discussed ad nauseum, but I'm pinched for time and can't delve into online research. I'm due to "hit the road" for an extended tour of the U.S. and points abroad, so I've downsized my system for portability while attempting to maintain optimal SQ. My concern is a lack of ethernet availability in many, if not most, of the places I'll be staying. I suspect Wi-Fi will be plentiful though.

Can I connect my MacBook Air wirelessly to hotel Wi-Fi and then run ethernet to my ultraRendu either directly from the laptop w/ USB to ethernet adapter, or via an Airport Express, without throwing SQ out the window? I'm hoping to utilize the Roon ready output from the ultraRendu. Thanks, Kurt

MacBook Air > ultraRendu > Hugo 2 > Fostex TH900 mk2
