I recently inherited a large record collection and have found (so far) eleven dbx encoded LPs. I have no dbx decoder and no plans to get one. These records have dead quiet surfaces thanks to the encoding and a huge dynamic range. They are virtually unlistenable without a decoder. If you know what they are you will know about all this. I am happy to send the entire set to the first person who asks for them. No charge except shipping to your zip code. Titles include three Jazz records (Cal Tjader, Shelly Manne, George Shearing) and eight classical LPs including works by Ravel, Rossini, Rachmnainoff, Holst, Copland, Vivaldi, and a sampler disc. Also one by Taj Mahal. All but two of these records are still in their original shrink rap.
