Another film I caught on a plane this week.
It held promise for me, as it includes actors Seth Rogan, Michelle Williams, Sarah Silverman and is directed by Sarah Polley.
A lot of Canadian content, and openly filmed in Toronto and on the east coast of Canada.
Hmmmn. Perhaps I expected a comedy given the people in the film. Nope.
OK, perhaps I expected something more interesting. Nope.
A dull sashay through uninteresting relationships with a few decent moments thrown in.
The highlight? No, not the nude scenes but the inclusion of an excellent song by Leonard Cohen by the same name.
4/10 for me. I see my rating mirrors more Ebert than RT (which has it over 75%). Must be an art film thing.
