You are going to get a lot of different opinions on this. My opinion is no better than anyone else's...but I can offer this. I own the original Atlantic and Swan Song pressings of the entire Led Zeppelin catalog. I also own all of the 200g Classic Records pressings that were remastered by Bernie Grundman, and the Jimmy Page remasteres that were cut to vinyl from 24bit/96KHz digital files.
Here is the thing. Unless you got gobs of money coming out of your ears forget about the Classic Records 200g pressings. They are selling for a king's ransom these days and are nowhere near worth the current asking price. While I might prefer by a slight margin the Classic Records 200g pressings, the Jimmy Page remasters on 180g vinyl are pressed at Pallas and sound very good -- even better than the original Atlantic and Swan Song pressings IMO.
As a side note I would suggest you steer clear of the Steve Hoffman forum. It used to be pretty good but the signal to nose ratio is quite low these days with trolls abound. Just my opinion though and I'm sure others love the site.
