Replace or Not to Replace WIMA ?
« on: 28 Feb 2017, 08:51 pm »
Well I have a question. I have board on a piece of dental lab equipment that is 230V that basically heats water,
that a WIMA MP3-X2  0.1 uF 250- burned up (smoked) while I was using. Well It has 2 of these capacitors. Should I replace both or just the one that burned up? The one that I picked up, WIMA MP3-X2  0.1 uF 275-. Thank you Ken

Thank you G Georgopoulos for your expert advice. I will replace the one cap and reinstall the board.  Thanks Ken
