Vintage looking vintage transformers

Usually we make all transformers look the same. This time a pair of vintage Fisher 500C output transformers were made to look 'old school' military style.

We're going to use this approach on some new applications and orders that are beginning now for those who have requested it.

The vintage look can be applied to new transformers as well.

The output transformers are from a Fisher 500C as an upgrade from our standard model.

It's difficult to capture what it looks like in person. The laminations are clear coated as is the copper strip on the power transformer. The Fisher's iron is a natural black after being cleaned while the power transformer is bright steel. The power transformer's iron was painted lightly to match the Fisher's appearance in color as well as texture.
