Could someone help me get digital out of my iphone 5 or 6 (lightning connector) to a DAC's  USB 2 or USB Type A digital input connector?
What do I need to buy for a connector to transfer the digital signal?

I don't know if your dac has spdif input. If it did then using bluetooth wireless reciever. I bough the Nuforce receiver and couldn't happier.

Bluetooth is a possibility and clearly more convenient than the cable, but it has lossy compression. If you stream from an iphone you can use airplay instead which streams lossless. Apple TV is cheap and has optical out. If you want to connect to your Arcam D33 with the coaxial S/PDIF input you could use an Arcam airDAC although with $700 a lot more pricey than the Apple TV.
