SOLD. Hegel HD25 DAC in mint condition for sale. I purchased it new from a local authorized Hegel dealer in April 2014. I am the first and only owner, and the DAC is in functional and cosmetic condition that is indistinguishable from brand new. It is Hegel’s top-of-the-line high-resolution 32-bit/192-kHz DAC with an integrated preamp, remote control and both balanced and single-ended outputs.
This DAC is one of the best sounding in the market, a real giant slayer. Between myself and local audio buddies we have owned and compared this to numerous DACs and found it easily betters: AMR DP-777, Auralic Vega, Ayre QB-9, Grace M905, Mytec 192, NAD M51, PS Audio PerfectWave. I am upgrading to a $13K DAC… so the HD25 has to go… which delivers 98% of the performance at 10% the cost.
In Warranty: Hegel will transfer to the buyer the balance of the 2 year warranty with a copy of original sales receipt from authorized dealer (which I will provide). I've already confirmed this with Hegel USA.
All original packing materials and accessories are included.
