Title: Ultra Plus preamp any one interested?
Post by: I.Greyhound Fan on 15 Nov 2013, 02:30 am
I have recently upgraded to a Pass Labs X250 amp from a Parasound A21 and have a pending purchase on the matching X1 preamp.  I will probably be selling my Ultra Plus hybrid tube preamp with the 6CG7 tubes, Mosfet and HT bypass upgrades along with the remote.  It is just a few years old and was checked over by Mr. Van Alstine last month.  If any one is interested PM me.  I hate to see it go as it is a very musical and dynamic preamp with deep controlled bass.

My Ultra Plus Preamp with remote, tape buffers, 6CG7 tube and Mosfet upgrades with Home Theater by pass switch is back up for sale.  It was checked out by Mr. Van Alstine in October 2013.

Asking $1,000 plus shipping.  I will split the Paypal fee's.

Just in case anyone would like this great preamp with a phono section added, we will install any of our amazing new Vision phono boards in this preamp for the base new installed price only, waving the retrofit cost.

Frank Van Alstine

:Larry, you have to come over and hear the new phono circuits, it will really tell you how good the Fet Valve CF preamp is - -  a lot better then you know.  You can hear the Philharmonic Three speakers too.

It's yours for $925 and I will throw in some NOS tubes along with the stock EH's.  It is a very dynamic preamp with good air and transparency. It has all the available upgrades including the mosfets, 6CG7 tubes and HT bypass.  I really don't want to sell it but after buying a Pass amp and matching preamp I need the cash.

I thought "bump" meant "sold", what do I know....Why can't they just say "it's still available"?

Because the proper form is to change the title to add the words SOLD when that occurs.  Otherwise it is assumed to still be for sale.
