uDAC Win7 32, driver not installed?
« on: 2 Jan 2010, 01:17 am »
Ended up with the uDAC in the office with a pair of Swans amplified speakers and it was working well for about a week, now no go, just a ! in the device manager. when i plug it in Win7 says "device driver was not successfully installed".

I guess possible it failed, only thing i can think of. was working well until now. nothing on the system changed. tried 3 different USB cables.

Try and unplug the uDAC, uninstall the device from Device Manager, restart the computer then plug in the uDAC and see if it will re-detect the hardware.

I got it working, it was some sort of conflict with my Logitech webcam. it was working with the built-in Win7 drivers, so i left it alone, as soon as I installed the real drivers the conflict went away and the uDAC works. nice. I was missing it. Works well in the office, makes the PC listenable.

thx!
