What are thoughts on this device? It can be had a decent price @ a4less and I was thinking of picking one up.

Note that the dac asked about by the OP is NOT the same as the confusingly-similar named TEAC UD-501 DSD capable dac that is discussed in the thread Phil linked to.  The TEAC UD-H01 is a non-DSD capable dac, although it appears very capable in other respects. Feel free to move this to cheap and cheerful or wherever if necessary.

Anybody have any further thoughts on this DAC?  For $400 retail (and 277 @ open box savings) it seems very compelling. For PCM it seems to offer almost everything that the more famous dsd capable ud501 offers at half the price. Same BB DAC chip, same muse opp amps, dual mono, toroidal transformer, etc.
