CIAudio will be spinning some vinyl at the LA Audio Show (June 2-4) in Suite 420.
Gear will consist of Clearaudio Concept turntable/Satisfy arm/Nagaoka cartridge feeding our new PEQ•1 MKII phono preamp, PLC•1 MKII Passive preamp, & D•200 MKII Monoblocks.
We will also unveil prototypes of a couple of new exciting products.
If attending, make sure to come by to say hi, see new gear, and hear the system!

Still on the fence regarding Roon...
This product is still a long way from production as software development will take us some time.
What I can tell you...
It will have 4 ways to connect a DAC
USB
Coaxial
Toslink
Differential I2S (over HDMI cable compatible with PS Audio, Wyred for Sound, etc.)
Will support Music Services like Tidal, Pandora, Internet Radio, etc.
Will allow connecting an external ROM drive to rip CD's to any drive on the network (.wav or .flac)
Can be connected to a network but can also work stand-alone.
Once connected, it can be it's own network to be controlled by anything with a web browser... phone, tablet, computer.
I'll provide more info as it becomes available.

As mentioned above, the speaker is a prototype...
Over the last few years, I've been designing/developing a matched set of ultra-performance drivers for an upcoming line of hi-end loudspeakers under the name SOULO.
What we had at the LAAS was a speaker we built to test our 6.5" midbass driver, and also other design concepts. The drivers are still being refined but already offer better performance than the best ScanSpeak, Seas, etc., so we figured it was time to give people a glimpse of what's to come. The response at the show was overwhelming... everyone wants them now!
We hope to have production models available early 2018... we'll see :D
