Really?  We need a policy or some procedure to deal with this?

How about people just stop coming here if they want to, and resist the childish need to announce it (and then renounce it - or not)?

Perhaps I am less patient than I should be - but you'll know if I ever stop hanging around here - not because i will post about it - BECAUSE I WILL ACTUALLY STOP!

 :duh:

And I was just about to announce my retirement effective on April 26, 2246.  Guess I'll just hold off now and see if the policy changes and there is a circle created for announcing one's retirement from AC.

I miss The Borg. Can we bring him back?

At first I thought you meant The Dork.

Sorry to hear about your pending departure Phil but it's never too early for the rest of us to start planning for a get-together. I suggest we all mark our calendars and plan a going-away party for Phil on April 1, 2246. Perhaps we could all meet at Guy 21's place?

I knew it - it was au revoir, and not good bye for Mr Georgopoulos! He couldn't resist posting not long after his farewell post:

http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=134532.msg1452253#msg1452253

Guy 13's still lurking but at least he has resisted the urge to post so far.

To quote an old country tune "How can I miss you if you won't go away?"

Tip of the hat ... a great line/ song from Dan Hicks & his Hot Licks & soooo applicable in this case.

I think AudioCircle is like crack cocaine to audiophile junkies.  :green:

No problem, I'm up for it.  To show we hold no grudges, we will invite the glorious leader JohnR13 as well.

Not really, but someone has to fill the void left after that classic "last post" fiasco.
