Bike shops around Boston

If you have a favorite shop, what is it, where is it, and why do you like it?

I am looking to get a new road bike and I am quickly learning that picking a good shop is equally important as picking a new bike.

So far, I have visited the following shops:

Grace Bicycles:  Holliston
Landry's Bicycles:  Natick

Thanks,

George

There are 30+? shops in the area. I'd check out Ace Wheelworks in Somerville (the better of the two Wheelworks for roadies I am told), Quad Cycles in Arlington and Internal Bicycle Centers in Newton.

Hi George,

I like Fitwerx in Peabody MA and Waitsfield VT.  Those guys have some really cool ways to analyze your body and movement, and can customize your final product to something that really works.  I like this approach as everybody can make/sell a great bike these days and the custom fit (not just size) makes a greater long term difference.

Good luck and enjoy.  It's been a great summer to get out and ride.
