Which Woofer to Pair Omega 7A fullrange - Help
« on: 7 Jul 2014, 08:21 pm »
I need select a 15 inches woofer to be used in a bass reflex box to pair a Omega 7A fullrange in OB.
Initially I thought at some Eminence model as this brand have distributor here.
The Delta Pro15A have a light cone, but it is 101dB sensitive and the Omega are only 93dB spl.

Question: This 8dB difference is a prob?? (the woofer are bass reflex, the FR are OB)
The inductor is the usual 4,7mH for 280Hz.

Thanks for the suggestion, but my amp only 15W, so MMS 98grams are a bit much, also the suggested box are big 285Lts.

Yeah, you will only hit 109 dB peaks with that amp but it is probably enough.  :green:

Also, many people use boxes around 100 liters and it works great.

And ime, these woofers are not cheap but the performance is amazing.
