I think the Hyperions look very beautiful in black gloss and with their golden horn around the tweeter (which is sadly missing on their newer speakers), but what about their components?
The BEC solid state amp, from what i know is only available in dull grey.
What components do you think are available that visually match the Hyperions?

Myself, i just bought a cd player that was foremost a good sounding cd player but also matched the Hyperions fabulous on looks.
It is the Chinese tubed MHZS CD88G CD player!
It is a toploader and the front is in black gloss and it has a goldish decor, gold coloured buttons and a ring around it's display.



What do you think of it? And what other components would visually match the speakers?

Incidentally, I used to own a MHZS 88. Pretty nice player, overbuilt for sure. The thing weighed a ton. The new glossy faceplate is snazzy. Curious why Pac Valve and Elec dropped the line.
