Is there an incompatibility problem? Are there JRMC settings that must be changed?

Transient MKII is fully compatible with JRiver. You can call us if you need any installation assistance.

Does that mean that the audio engine and other features in JRiver will work with the Transient MkII?

I'm not sure what you mean by "Audio Engine", but I assume you're talking about the various output options.
Once you install our driver, you select ASIO from the Output Mode drop down list. Wasapi and others are also supported.

There are numerous features in JRiver such as DSP, volume leveling etc... that are non-functional when utilizing dlna which is what I'm using now (Oppo 103).
