I just got the Fry’s flyer and a 1TD hard drive is $109!!!!!! and a 1TB HDD in a case with USB, eSATA, and Firewire is only $145!!!

Makes me wish I had not bought my 500GB $200 HDD.

Here is another great deal from a better HD vendor:

Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive (bare drive) - OEM  for $139

While you are getting 500GB for only an extra $30, it is an OEM  drive (which means no cables, screws, software, etc...)

I will be buying a couple to put into my new tower pc.

As an FYI, Ive had some major issues with the Seagate drives (more than 5 failures over the last 3 years) and am now only using Western Digital. In my case these were all external drives so YMMV. Regardless of which drive you go with, a backup is always a good idea.

I bought one of the 1.5TB external Seagate drives that was on sale 9 ($139 on-line from Frys, $149 from best buy).

I have 300 gb at the moment of FLAC on a htpc w/m-Audio REVO card in the closet behind my setup where I have a cable throught wall for connection. this provide silent operation in the listening room.

i can display my library on the HT screen using Meedio or I use remote desktop and often FooBar to run the jukebox from my laptop.
