Thanks Trout,  I always forget the Uptown location and go over to Saint Paul. Hi Fi sound has a nice selection of used jazz right now. Picked up a Reference Recordings copy of L'Histoire Du Soldat there this week when I got my SL1200 MKII.

Everything everyone has said about the Technics is true IMO. I am running a Dynavector 10X5 into a Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 and the speed stability of the 1200 makes a big difference. Much tighter bass and bigger sound stage than my old Ariston Q Deck. Amazing that 20 years later I can buy such a better deck for what I paid in 1988
