I hook up an ex HD and the Windows 10 software makes it drive E: - usually. I plugged something else in first so it registered that SD card as E: so when replugging in the HD, it registered that as F:

So now without anything else plugged in - and rebooted - it only registers the HD as F: - how do I get the computer to see it as E:?

The reason is - is because my JRiver playlists are marked under drive E:

Frustrating!

(SRB - are you there?   )

I'm here!

Go to Disk Management

Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

or just click Start button, type disk m and select Create and format hard disk partitions

Right-click on the drive and select Change Drive Letter and Paths
