RCA Living Stereo 'Shaded dog' reissues
« on: 6 Feb 2014, 12:52 am »
I just received a copy of the recent Analog Productions reissue of 'Scheherazade' performed by the Chicago Symphony with Fritz Reiner at the podium, on 200 gram vinyl.

I have many great recordings in my collection, this one just moved to the top of list.\

Dynamic, detailed, transparent... every positive attribute you want in a recording, this has it in spades. Not to mention that the vinyl is dead quiet.

Combine the above with what is considered one of the best performances of this ever recorded, and the results are amazing!

Well worth $30.

I will not hesitate to buy more of these Analog Productions reissues. Next up, the Bartok...

Did you end up buying any more of these?  I've been interested but haven't pulled the trigger yet.  I've got the original Reiner Sound and am curious if the Analogue Productions reissue is superior.
