I've had my eye on Hi-Q LP004 featuring the Mendelssohn and Bruch violin concertos performed by Yehudi Menuhin with the Philharmonia Orchestra. Has anybody heard this recording or any other of the dozen or so available from this label? I'm somewhat familiar with the performances and am more concerned with sound quality, soundstaging and imaging.
Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated as these records are not cheap so I don't want to gamble. I posted on the Vinyl Circle as well.
