How's the new DAC coming? I have had a number of people ask me about DACs in the $2.5K range and I keep telling them that CIAudio is cooking something up, but I have no idea when.

We're working on several new products simultaneously, but all are still months from release.
Maybe we'll have something done by RMAF.

Really nice system. A breath of fresh air to hear a well balanced, enjoyable system for around $8,000. Hurrah! It's great to think you can a fully functional, satisfying system for less than the cost of two meters of Nordost Valhalla II balanced cable!

Thanks for stopping by and glad you enjoyed our system. We did a modest system to show our products are at home in any system.
At Axpona, they were paired up in a mega-buck system with the $140K Von Schweikert VR-100S Loudspeakers, and was voted best of show by many top reviewers.
At Newport we used the $2895 VR-22 and also had very good sound. It makes a great system for $8k, which can easily be upgraded by moving up the speaker line.

It was nice having PFO across the hall from us... I was in there a few times to steal a shot of scotch or bourbon

Thanks for explaining the differences to my buddy of all of the different types of amplified topology.   He really apreciated the time that you took.  He will be replacing some 500 watt budget mono blocks from another company soon.   I gave the PFo room two thumbs up for the Malbec they were pouring.
