RAVA with Electrostats
« on: 22 May 2003, 04:33 am »
Hello,

Does anybody heard the RAVA'S (SE or not) paired with electrostats?

I am leaning on buying two units for stereo listening only.   My speakers are Martin Logans (35Hz-20kHz, Xover at 250 Hz.) with Stratos Monos and ARC LS-12 preamp.  Room is 14 x 18 x 8.  Martin Logan woofers are sealed, that is why I am really considering the Rava's.

Your response/comments are highly appreciated.

Best regards :)

How do you plan to crossover?

If you run your stats full range and bring the sub under them then you will want to do a frequency sweep to see if the internal crossovers are low enough.  Rava=40Hz (I think) and the SE =50Hz.

If you use an external xover then you should have no problem.

I run a standard Rava with a pair of MGMC1's in my HT with very good results!
