I have a sMS-200 NAA to feed my DAC. I am using Roon now, but navigating classical music isn't easy on Roon, so I want to try Musichi.
But Musichi can't stream to a NAA. Apparently it can only play to local audio endpoints. Musichi support says "Windows default sound."
How can I connect Musichi or any other traditional music player to my NAA across the network?
Or put more generally, how can Windows default sound (whatever acronym you call it now) be played on NAA?
Roon can connect to NAA, but afaik Roon doesn't have any live audio input feature like foobar and JRiver do, nor can it act as a Windows Sound device (virtual sound card) to intercept audio from other apps, like Dirac and JRiver do. JRiver can't stream to NAA.
I'm not expert in this, so I'm hoping some of my above assumptions are wrong and there already exists a solution. Seems like it could be useful to people who own NAAs who would like to send Windows sound to it.
Thanks!
