NC audio store recommendation?
« on: 18 Feb 2017, 02:36 am »
Can any of my fellow ACers give a recommendation, or not, as the case may be, on an NC audio store. Has anyone bought from Vintage Audio in Jamestown, NC? He has two pieces that I'm interested in acquiring but I'd like to hear some feedback about the business. You could always pm me if you'd like to keep your comments confidential.

As always, my thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Lester

Looks like a cool place. I've not been there.

I have seen this place before but never had the chance to actually go there.
Just about all the hi end audio places around here are gone.

I recommend the Audio Store in Four Oaks, NC - theanalogstore.com.  Alex has worked on my gear in the past and does a great job!

When he had his store in Raleigh he had some great vintage gear, but since he has moved to Four Oaks I'm not quite sure what he has in stock.  However, he does know a lot of folks with great gear, so if you are looking for something you can always reach out to him and he may have someone who asked him if he knew anyone who was looking for such and such...

Also, if you are getting vintage gear and want to have it checked out Alex is the man!

I recently found a 1-owner Harman Kardon 730 in his shop that I apparently could not live without. Ed is knowledgeable and prices reflect that.

I realize that this is late in the game but I wanted to mention Liquid HiFi in Charlotte, NC. Ron is good guy and has a great demo room.
