Must have been central or south Jersey. There is an area down there called the Great Swamp.
We were in an area called "Breckenridge", if that helps?

From Thanksgiving holiday 2014.  That golden hour lit up the waterfront.

This picture as you can see didn't come out to good plus I cropped it
a little bit afterwards. It was taken at the pond by my apartment complex
today while I was out for a walk. I'm thinking it's a Heron.

Looks like the first MPPOTHD for 2015

iPhone 5s in Pano mode. Image sharpened and resized in Photoshop.

The parched hills, in Los Altos for a little evening cross country mountain biking.

hey, I grew up in that kinda country. More east bay than south, I was in Livermore. Sure miss those Oaks. Please do me a favor and climb one for me (and take more pics).

Hey, Alan I will definitely take more pics, but I don't climb trees, wish I could though.

I've always seem to find a cool Live Oak tree nearby when I am out in nature in the Bay Area. Was up in Marin last weekend and a visiting friend from Italy asked what that was.

Neat!  :thumb:
Mind if I ask where that is, and the name of that tree?

It's a random shot at the Point Vicente Lighthouse parking lot near Los Angeles. Honestly, I'm not sure the type of tree, but I thought it was a cool shot. Here is another shot:

It's a great shot, I love the B&W.
Neat how the wind has had it's way with that tree.
The crow on top is the icing on the cake.

Found this Red-tail Hawk at bottom of our driveway. Could not fly. Seemed exhausted. Walked unsteady. No other obvious signs of injury. Ended up carefully capturing him and taking him to local Wildlife and Rescue Center for rehab. Unfortunatley he did not respond to the treatment. Likely been on the ground for few days without food. He had to be euthanized. We were saddened he was not able to recover.

Had he recovered they'd have taken him back out to my place for release. He was assigned an ID number and we could have tracked his progress on-line. Such an outstanding organization to be sure!

This was shot with a Samsung 6 plus on full I don 't know jack about pictures.

This was shot Saturday (after a long evening with "Vinyl Lady") in Glacier National Park on "Going To The Sun Road".  If you look at the line of yellow aspen towards the top of the on left side is where the road is.  You can make out the road as it angles up to the middle of the picture.  I forget what the ranking is but this is in the top 10 picturesque/Kodak moments in the USA.  We passed on the 1934-35 White bus ride.  At this time of the year we only got to Logan pass from the west side as the east was getting some needed repair.
