RC4 Cabinet in Curly Maple

I just got the RC4 cabinets in real wood veneer curly maple with solid round corner from the local cabinet maker.  The pictures are in my gallery.

I will be busy this weekend to put them together.

Very nice. Looks like you had T Nuts installed.

Time to finish the project and let us know if they sound as good as they look.

It will be awhile before I can comment on the sound because they will be in a very very very bad room.  I will have to treat the room first and I will not be able to get to this until mid July.

Those are stainless steel inserts.

I changed the specs a bit to make the cabinet slimmer so the cabinet is not the same size as the standard RC4.

Come on we do not want to wait that long

Give them a test run in the family room for a day or so.

I really want to do that but my wife will absolutely not letting me playing with audio in the family room.  I am lucky enough that she let me build the RC4 after the Incredarray.

Having been through a lot of gears over the years, I have learned not to let my excitement  with a new piece of gear cloulding my opinion about it.  I want to live with the gear for at least three months before I will say any thing about it to the public.  However, if you want I can email you my rough opinion about them after two weeks.

Beautiful cabinets.

I put pictures of the first speaker that I just finished.  I think it looks beautiful.  I have not play it yet because I need to finish the second one.
