TriTraps behind Maggie MG-20s
242's at first reflection
(not shown) 244 Bass Traps in rear.
Dramatic improvement at modest cost. Very pleased!

Hey, Bryan, when you're back.  I don't seem to be able to negotiate your website to order what I need.  I need two more 242 panels in black.  Please advise on how I am to pay you.  Thanks.  Jim

Sonus,
That's a beautiful room. I think you would gain added benefit if you put an area rug on the floor to absorb the reflections. It's worth a try.

If your walls are more pure white, we offer a bright white also.

Here, after consultation with Bryan, is how I approached an asymmetrical living/dining room front wall that's an obvious minefield of acoustical nasties. The shown complement of a soffit trap and three 244s is supplemented by floor-standing 244s at the first reflection points, a soffit trap at a corner created by a width-narrowing wall jog-in about two-thirds of the way down the left side, and a 244 mounted horizontally at rear wall center. This is Phase One of an acoustical re-do of the 29'9" x 14'4" (narrowing to 10'10") x 7'8" very lived-in room...and it has proved extremely effective.

Before getting Salk-ed. InnerSound Eros MK III's.

Salked. SoundScape 8's. The subs are there cause the entire main level is open and large with 14' ceilings. Needed help in the 25-35Hz range.

Gear has changed, but the GIK treatments stay. IIRC had them since 2006. Wish I had them sooner.

Finally about finished with the room remodel. The Napa Valley vineyard panels behind the bar are 244s and the Red Rocks panels are 242s. Tri-traps in 2 corners.
