newbie looking for solution to reduce hum
« on: 17 Dec 2017, 09:12 am »
Hello,
I am a newbie and want to buy something listed. Jensen ISOMAX P2XR. How do I do that?
A few month, i've got an Atma sphere MP1 3.3. Sounds great at a diy 300B and high efficiency LS (TAD 4001/Supravox 285-2000 as CD/Tractrix-Horn and a bass-eckhorn). Connected by xlr to a mytek DSD 192 (jriver) and, on the other side, to an asymmetrical active crossover (diy: substractive XO/OPA 2134). For reducing hum, i actually use a Palmer PLI 05. Maybe, the Jensen ISOMAX P2XR offers more headroom?
Enjoy answers to experinece, or questions or discussion. :D
