I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is familiar with this DAC or even with this manufacturer. My current DAC will not do 192/24. This would be used with Bryston BDP-1, Modwright LS 100, Modwright KWA 150SE and upgraded Daedalus DA-RMa speakers. The company states:  "... AcousticPlan components are geared to the reproduction of the mid frequency range where the human ear is most sensitive and where voices as well as instruments have their highest intensity." I have moderate tinnitus so this bias may actually be beneficial. On the other hand, I fear missing detail good recordings at 192/24 possess. Used unit cost is one reason I am considering this DAC as opposed to Modwright, Lampizator and AMR DACs.

How much does this DAC cost?

There are two DACs that may interest you:

dBSoundlabs DAC and the BorderPatrol DAC.

I haven't heard either, but I have read good reviews of them.
