New Song3 Center

With several models of Song3's under our belt, it was time to design a compatible 3-way center channel.

This center channel features the same RAAL 64-10 used in most Song3 models as well as the 4" titanium midrange.  The result is a transparent center channel with a detailed midrange that produces clean, crisp dialogue with a high level of intelligibility.  Never bright or harsh, this center channel has great off-axis response regardless of where you are seated in the room.  Seas ER15 woofers round out the driver compliment and result in a response with an F3 of 35Hz.

Here is a picture...

.

Details are available on our web site: http://salksound.com/model.php?model=Song3+Center

Happy listening!

Jim, how did you manage to get those ER15 down to 35hz, F3?
The songtower with TL tune is good for 45hz at f3.

Current SongTower page lists F3 at 38 Hz

When i first got the ST years ago it was listed as F3 42, and the center was in the 55hz.
Regarless, how does the er15 of the Dong3 gets its F3 of the w18 region ?
The absolutesound review still have those spec listed as 42-20khz for the ST.

Thanks for pointing this out.  When we developed the new web site, we had to populate a database with specifications.  I accidentally listed the F3 of the SongTower at 38Hz.  This should have been 42Hz.  It has now been corrected.

As for how this is possible, it is all related to the transmission line cabinet.  The cabinet itself is responsible for the deepest bass extension.
