I'm trying to forget about it, and a good single malt goes a long way. :D

Thats one I have been wanting to try. Unfortunately my new state of residence has alcoholic beverage control in place and limited choices.

Great build - congratulations!  :thumb:
I have limited space beside my 134" HT screen, so have been studying and considering building tall small-driver line arrays, but this NX-Otica is mighty tempting.

They are one of my all time favorite speakers to listen to.

I hope this is not too long for a reply in an existing post, but I was trying to keep the number of NX-Otica build threads down and just add to what is there.

Steve

Gorgeous finish on those Steve...really cool.

I've wondered about RAGE filler. Who knew you could capture it in can?

Hey guys- looking at installing No Rez on the top section of long wing. It is short by 1 inch in height at the baffle. How close to the baffle do you place it? Do you miter it to give relief? What’s the best move?
Thx in advance.

It's not that critical. I mounted mine so that it is about a half inch inside the wings all the way around (except the bottom where it sits on the brace). This leaves some room to tuck the wires between the norez and the front baffle.

For that  upper section, yeah it is  a bit short.... if you want it right up to the upper  edfge, leave the gap above the  upper brace,  it will be fine..      IIRC,  when we  did that  first  pair,  we  left  a bit of a gap   along the  top and at the rear  so    it showed a bit of paint  around the perimeter.

Thought I’d post a picture of my setup, the speakers and subs are about three weeks old.  Thanks to everyone on this forum who helped me out.

Newbie here, 1st post. I've been looking at this NX-Otica kit for some time now. Planning to purchase first week of July 2021. Before I do, I want to ask if anyone that has built them have any regrets or wish they had chosen a different pair. I appreciate your input.

Going out on a limb here... I think the only regrets would center around
1) Not getting the NX-Extremes instead
2) Not getting more upgrades in the crossover from the start
3) Not having/buying subs to cover the low end

Just a guess.. I've not read ANY "these suck" type of messages for these speakers. like 0.  :D
